FREDDIE DICKSON

“This is the kind of music that makes us feel, that helps us to connect with and start to overcome our own demons.” Atwood Magazine

“From the quality production, musicianship and Freddie’s outstanding soulful voice, it’s clear that this artist knows what he’s doing.” Louder Than War

Freddie Dickson is a British singer, songwriter and producer who has taken his unique style of dark indie pop around the world, releasing several critically acclaimed albums and EPs. Whilst in London Freddie’s song ‘Shut us Down’ caught the attention of Lily Allen and he was soon signed to Columbia Records, releasing two EPs and playing established venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire, Koko and The Great Escape Festival. After two and a half years Freddie parted ways with the label seeking a new direction as an independent indie artist.

Looking to rediscover his style and sound, Freddie relocated to Berlin in 2018, signing with Zart Agency (Sam Fender, Ben Howard) and immersing himself within the Berlin music scene. Recently touring with Grammy winner Madison Cunningham and packing out his latest full band show, Freddie has also been establishing himself as a songwriter for many Berlin artists. Having amassed just shy of a million streams and landing on several TV shows with their song ‘Sceptic Heart’, from a collection of songs written for BMG, Freddie has teamed up with producer Ainsley Adams to record his third studio album Modern Luck.

The new body of work is bolder, more outspoken and adopts a faster pace, driven by conversations about anxiety, self-doubt and a sense of the unknown within the music industry. The 9-track album is currently in the latter stages of production and is set to be released in early winter of 2023.
